LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police arrested a female suspect and searched for a male suspect in the robbery and stabbing of a driver for the car-booking service Uber.

Officers found the victim before dawn Tuesday in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood with stab wounds to his face and neck.

Officer Drake Madison tells the Los Angeles Times (http://lat.ms/1ycmIWX ) that the male driver is expected to recover.

The driver told investigators a man and woman robbed him and fled.

Officers later arrested a woman suspected in the assault and robbery. They are still searching for a man they believe is connected to the attack.

Madison says it is unclear whether the man and woman were passengers who requested the Uber driver.

Uber says it is looking into the incident and will work with investigators.
