An update tonight on a story we broke back in January.
The U.S. Department of Labor announced today, Butte Steel and Fabrication owner, Jerry Brochheuser must make his former employees whole, in connection with $27,000.00, in employee contributions, that were expected to go toward their individual 401(k) plans, but didn't.
The former employees of the now bankrupt steel fabrication business, in Chico will finally get back the thousands of dollars in retirement funds, they paid into.
The original complaint charges that from July 2009 to August 2012, Brochheuser illegally withheld the money meant for employee retirement plans.
Butte Steel and Fabrication has been out of business since declaring bankruptcy, in 2013.
