Two fires that started in two different North State counties at practically the same time are both under investigation. According to a Cal Fire spokesperson, around 3:30 Wednesday a fire was reported in Happy Valley in Shasta County at the intersection of Cloverdale and Dale Lanes. When all was said and done, two travel trailers were destroyed and 27 acres were burned. Two firefighters also suffered injuries.
Then, just 15 minutes after the Happy Valley fire started, another blaze was reported in Trinity County in Junction City. Two homes burned and one homeowner and a firefighter were injured. We don't know their conditions at this time.
