Two men arrested for allegedly selling meth near elementary school

Two Orland men were arrested Tuesday for allegedly running a drug sales operation near an elementary school.

The Glenn County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at the home of 44-year-old Wade Holder and his father 66-year-old Frank Allen Holder on Central Street in Orland after learning about drug sales at the location.

At the house officials found 11.5 grams of methamphetamine, 77 grams of marijuana, scales indicating drug sales and drug paraphernalia.

Agents say they also found chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine and the drugs seized at the home had street value of $2,690.

Wade Holder was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of metal knuckles, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possessing substances with an intent to manufacture, two paraphernalia charges and for running a drug operation within 1,000 feet of a school.

Frank Holder faces charges of drug trafficking within 1000 feet of a school, possesion of a controlled substance, marijuana possesion, and possesion of substances with intent to manufacture.
