A traffic stop in Anderson yesterday turned up narcotics, drug paraphernalia, firearms, ammunition, counterfeit currency, stolen property and a stun gun.

The Anderson Police Department made a traffic stop near the intersection of Pinion Avenue and Knobcone Drive for double yellow line and signaling infractions.

While making contact with the men in the vehicle one suspect lied about his identity. The suspect was ultimately identified as Joshua Randall Isaacson, 37, of Redding, wanted for multiple felony warrants.

The narcotics were identified as methamphetamine and the drug paraphernalia consisted of used methamphetamine pipes and hypodermic syringes/needles. Scales and packaging material were also located. The stolen property that was recovered was taken during a Redding area burglary earlier in the month. Officers returned the property to the owner.

The only passenger was identified as Danielle Leeann Hodges, a 29 year old transient was also arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Isaacson, a convicted felon, was booked at the Shasta County Jail on his outstanding arrest warrants, along with new felony weapons and narcotics violations. A number of additional felony charges will be filed with the Shasta County District Attorney.
