According to the Facebook page, Friends of the Redding Eagles, the first chick popped out of its shell at 10:01 a.m. Monday.

The last time Liberty had a successful breeding season was in 2012, and Liberty and Spirit have never had a successful breeding season together. The couple laid three eggs this year, the other two are expected to hatch sometime this week.
