Monday started off foggy in some areas and clear in other parts of the North State. The areas that saw fog last night (southern half of the Sacramento Valley, along the Trinity and Feather Rivers and around Lake Almanor) should see fog again tonight as high pressure has built back on into California and will deflect the storm track northward for about a week.
Temperatures won't change much this week, but we'll see some high clouds on Thursday. The ridge really strengthens this weekend, and with a light north wind as well, look for Valley temperatures to warm into the 70's! It should be a beautiful weekend.
But... we need rain. And there are signs of wet weather returning to us next week. All the more reason to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!
