Tree crews representing PG&E are scheduled to begin work along Buschmann Road between Foster Road and Clark Road today.
The tree work is being done in an effort to remove any possible conflicts between the trees and the planned PG&E power line improvements scheduled for later this spring.
Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should be cautious when traveling along Buschmann Road over the next several weeks. The scheduled working hours for the project will be 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and should take several weeks to complete.
Property owners should try to schedule travel plans to and from their property during this time. Lastly, residents should keep children and pets away from job site. Heavy equipment is a natural attraction to children and can be very dangerous.
If the weather cooperates, the tree work should be completed during this time period. Residual work will take place after the initial work by PG&E tree contractors as the downed material will need to be removed from the site.
