A peaceful crowd of about two dozen people filled the corner of 3rd and Main streets in downtown Chico earlier today, hoping to get the attention of the north state. They held signs and spoke quietly among themselves, speaking for someone they say can no longer speak for himself.
You'll find the Chico Peace Vigil organization there each and every Saturday, supporting a cause that's close to their hearts. Today it's all about Trayvon. With their signs and they're enthusiasm, these protestors want to spur the community into action.
