Butte County Sheriffs scored a three-for-the-price-of-one in arrests Tuesday after a traffic stop netted drugs, weapons and warrants charges.

Butte County Sheriff’s Deputies Jessica Flores and Joshua Brazzi conducted a stop on a vehicle on Rancheria Drive near Mechoopda Street in Chico for a minor traffic stop. Deputies saw what appeared to be the butt of a shotgun concealed under the seat.

Deputies removed Tonie Broadway, 46, Derek Sizemore, 52, and Jerrod Reichjohnson, 29, from the vehicle. All three were determined to have outstanding, unrelated warrants for their arrest. A search of the vehicle led deputies to another shotgun, reported as stolen in Chico, and prescription pills.

All three were booked into Butte County Jail for the unrelated warrants.

The Butte County Interagency Narcotics Taskforce served an additional warrant on the residence of Sizemore on Wednesday. Agents recovered more firearms, ammo, stolen property and drugs and paraphernalia.

Deputies said they anticipate Sizermore will face additional charges for evidence recovered in the search.
