Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning, we've got a treat in the nighttime sky for us... a total lunar eclipse! The moon will turn blood red as the shadow of the Earth passes in front of the moon. Start brewing the coffee however, as it'll be in the very early hours of Wednesday morning.
The partial eclipse begins at 2:15 am Wednesday morning.
Totality begins at 3:25 am Wednesday morning.
Totality ends at 4:24 am Wednesday morning (59 minutes of the moon being totally eclipsed!)
The partial eclipse ends at 5:34 am, Wednesday morning.
All times listed here are Pacific.
Also, don't forget we have a partial solar eclipse happening later this month, on Thursday October 23rd! The sun will be about 50% eclipsed in the North State. Order your eclipse glasses now!
