Slightly cooler temperatures, higher humidity levels, and lighter winds will all help to lower the fire concerns across the north state for your Tuesday. Temperatures will fall around 3 to 5 degrees below yesterdays highs, but will continue to stay above average for this time of year. Humidity will increase due to the return of monsoonal moisture heading up from the south, and winds are expected to be below, or at 10mph out of the south.
The one big increase in fire concern for the day will be the chance of thunderstorms in the moutains. We'll be monotoring those conditions very closely for the day, so make sure to check in on the Action News Now Facebook Page for the latest developments.
