Today marked the last day of the 24th annual Olive Festival in Corning. Thousands of people wandered around Woodson City Park to look at the different vendors and food booths. There were also tons of games and contests, as well as a bounce house for the kids.
The newest attraction this year was the Olive Pit spitting contest. The popular olive hunt also went on today, where people could search for hidden black olives to win prizes. The Olive Festival is put on every year by the Corning Chamber of Commerce.
