It was a hot day around the North State today, and we'll see more of the same tomorrow. Changes happen later this week, however, as rain will return by Friday!
Strong high pressure over California sent Valley highs into the upper 80's today, and we'll see that again tomorrow. A weak low in the Pacific will graze the North State on Wednesday, and won't bring us rain... but it will cool our highs down to near 80 Wednesday and Thursday, along with partly cloudy skies.
That storm will also open things up for a stronger Pacific storm to come in on Friday. This should bring us rain and much cooler weather! We're in our thunderstorm season now, and the upper low looks somewhat strong, so we have to include a chance of thunderstorms as well in the Valley.
We'll get a break on Saturday, then a weaker (but still chilly) low will arrive Sunday with a few showers... and again, a chance of thunderstorms in the Valley.
Overall this upcoming weekend looks much cooler than this past weekend we just finished with! We're not done with the cool and unsettled weather yet!
