Tickets remain for legendary crab feed in Redding

If you like crab, you don't want to miss the One SAFE Place 27th Annual Crab Feed. Tickets are still available, but are selling quickly. The feed is this Saturday, February 1, at the Shasta District Fairgrounds. Executive Director Jean King says the community's support of this event helps provide shelter and care to abuse victims.

1,200 hungry crab-cracking participants are expected to enjoy R&R Seafood's all-you-can eat Dungeness crab, Holiday Quality Foods fresh-baked French bread and the Anderson Rotary's world famous homemade clam chowder. The no-host bar opens at 4 p.m. The event will include the ever-popular crab servers' parade, and a live auction featuring items like local and regional travel packages to destinations such as Sun River, Trinidad and the Trinity River, jewelry from Goldmart jewelers and an exclusive group tour and dining experience from Sierra Nevada Brewery.

You can reserve a "Table for Eight" which includes 8 premier reserved seats, 8 custom wine glasses, 4 bottles of wine and 8 crab crackers, all for just $540.00.
