Three people have been transported to the hospital after a three car crash on Highway 273 in Redding.

The fiery crash has the southbound lanes of Highway 273 blocked at South Bonnyview Road in Redding and traffic is being re-routed to Wsetside Road while crews clear the scene.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a white Nissan Altima hit a Honda coupe from behind, causing the Honda to rear-end a Toyota Tacoma. The Tacoma then went up in flames.
