Just after 10 p.m. last night, a man was walking to his car in the Target parking lot on Dana Drive when he was approached by 3 people. The victim told police that one of the suspects held a knife to his stomach and asked for his wallet. When the victim told them that he didn’t have a wallet one of the suspects grabbed his car keys. The group then took off in the victim's car, a 2005 silver Ford Mustang. About 20 minutes later, authorities spotted the vehicle on Highway 273 at North Street in Anderson. When officers tried to pull the car over the driver sped off, leading authorities on a chase. The suspects then made their way onto southbound I-5. The pursuit ended when the driver crashed at the Balls Ferry Road exit. The three suspects tried to get away on foot, but were caught and arrested. One of them was a juvenile male. The other two have been identified as Christopher Hill and Adrian Caillaux, a transient, both of Redding. The suspects were taken to the hospital for injuries received during the crash. The car was totaled and had to be towed from the scene.
