A computer built by a Chico man to keep the memories of his wife alive was stolen from their apartment on Park Avenue.

The computer was built from scratch by Trisha Normal's husband Ray when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a few years ago.

Someone entered the couple's one bedroom apartment sometime between 5 and 7 a.m. Monday morning and stole the computer, medication and jewelry, but it is the computer that they really want back.

The computer contained all of Trisha's medical information, but more importantly had pictures that would help her remember family and friends daily.

The couple has filed a police report and are holding out hope the computer will be returned, but meanwhile Trisha says she is just glad nobody was injured.
