Above average temperatures, and sunny skies are ahead for your Friday. Temperatures are starting out in the high 50's to mid 60's in the valley, and in the mid 30's to low 40's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the high 80's to low 90's in the valley, and into the mid 70's to mid 80's in the mountains. Winds will only be up to around 10mph out of the North.
Temperatures will drop by 4 to 6 degrees this weekend, but will continue to be around 10 degrees above average for most of the north state. Some high clouds will also return over the next few days, with a very slight possibility of some active weather in the mountains.
Much cooler temperatures, and a better potential for active weather will return towards the middle of next week. The best chance for showers, and thunderstorms will be limited to the mountains. The potential for active weather in the valley will be minimal, but is still worth mentioning. I hope everyone finds a good way to beat the heat over the next few days, has a fantastic Friday, and a wonderful weekend!
