Cloudy skies, and cool temperatures are ahead in your Wednesday forecast. Showers are projected to hold off until tonight for most of the region, but the Northern Mountains could have some light precipitation throughout the day. Temperatures are starting out in the high 40's to low 50's in the valley, and in the low 30's to mid 40's in the mountains. Valley locations will be climbing into the low to mid 70's this afternoon, and mountain high temperatures will mostly be in the low to mid 60's. Winds are expected to be moderate, and should only be up to around 10mph out of the Southeast.
The chance of showers will return to the entire region tonight, and will persist through your Thursday forecast. Dry conditions look to take hold of the north state on Friday, before another chance of showers returns Friday evening. The Friday evening system could continue to leave the region with a decent amount of moisture through Saturday afternoon, before dry conditions return for Sunday. I hope everyone bundles up for the cooler weather, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
