Thanksgiving travelers contend with rain and snow

MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) - Some travelers headed to their Thanksgiving Day destinations are facing special challenges today in the crowded Washington-to-Boston corridor.

A nor'easter is packing rain for some and snow for others. Major Northeast cities are likely to see moderate to heavy rain most of the day today. But for New York and other places, snow is also in the forecast.

Major airlines have dropped their ticket-change fees for people flying in and out of the Northeast, allowing passengers to try to sneak onto an earlier flight.
