BEREA, Ohio (AP) - With broad shoulders, long legs and speed to burn, there's no doubt Terrelle Pryor looks like a wide receiver. He has to prove he can play the position.
A former quarterback with Oakland, Pryor has transitioned to wide receiver and will try to win a roster spot with the Browns, who are intrigued by the 6-foot-4, 225-pounder's ability. Pryor believes he can pull off the switch, but knows it won't be easy because he lacks experience.
Pryor isn't missing any confidence and believes he can play wide receiver at the highest level because "I'm big and I don't think a lot of those guys can run with me."
Browns coach Mike Pettine said Pryor, wearing No. 87, "looks great in a uniform" and was impressed with the former Ohio State quarterback's first practice. Pettine also warned that Pryor "has a lot to learn."
