BALTIMORE (AP) - National Guard troops are fanned out through Baltimore and firefighters are dousing still-simmering blazes this morning following violence that broke out after yesterday's funeral of a black man who died after being arrested by police.

The violence started in West Baltimore and by midnight had spread to the eastern part of the city, close to the baseball stadium.

At least 15 officers were hurt and at least two dozen people were arrested.

A 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew begins tonight.
