"Chico Tellabration" is one of many storytelling celebrations that will take place across the country this month.
It's a celebration of storytelling, featuring stories of Transition and Transformation.
The Chico event is a benefit for the 6th Street Center for Youth, and takes place at the Chico Womens Club on Sunday, November 16th.
The mission of the 6th Street Center is to provide a safe place where youth experiencing homelessness can acquire the skills, resources and opportunity they need to transition into healthy independent living and adulthood.
The "Tellabration" will include an evening of stories by three professional storytellers and one local youth. It also includes dinner and music by Michelin Embers.
Tickets are $20 for Dinner & Show, $10 for just the Show. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., Dinner will be served from 5:15 - 6:30 p.m. with Storytellers at 7 p.m. and music at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at "The Bookstore" downtown and "Magnolia Gift and Garden."
