Tehama County gun club burglarized

Members of a Tehama County gun club arrived at a local shooting range last week to find that nearly $4,000 worth of ammo had been stolen from the facility.

Tehama Shooters and Tehama Clay Busters members found the gun range on the 2600 block Manton Road burglarized when they arrived at 6:30 a.m. June 6.

According to the Tehama County Sheriff's Office, the suspects cut locks and entered buildings and storage units. Among the items stolen were, 38 cases of Winchester brand 12 gauge shotgun shells, a green gurney, a lantern and a red Craftsman toolbox.

The shotgun shells are branded have lot numbers 20W3HL08 or 37W2HC26 on them.

Several building belonging to the Tehama Rock Company were also damaged and burglarized.
