Tehama County family forced to move after second flood

There were about 100 homes and businesses that were flooded during last weeks storm, including the Umali family who was flooded again yesterday.

Rene Umali and his family have lived in their home off Highway 99 and Bray Avenue for two years. Their home was flooded twice in the past week and now they are forced to move. Umali says there was over a foot of water in his home.

The American Red Cross was in Tehama County surveying the damage that happened to homes. Officials stop and talked to residents who flooded, including the Umalis.

Tehama County officials say they are going to continue surveying the damage from both storms that hit the county this month to find out what sort help they need.
