Tehama Co. supervisors declare support for Jefferson movement

The Tehama County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to adopt a resolution declaring its support to separate from California and form a new state.

In June, Tehama County voters, by a vote of 56 percent to 44 percent expressed their desire for the Board of Supervisors to adopt a declaration of support.

Tehama County joins Yuba, Glenn, Modoc and Siskiyou counties as Northern California counties that have voted to join the State of Jefferson movement.
