ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) - A 17-year-old boy has been charged as an adult for allegedly raping and kidnapping a woman who was delivering pizzas east of San Francisco.

KTVU reports Darrion Miles was charged Tuesday by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's office.

Antioch police Sgt. Dimitri Barakos said the woman was delivering a Domino's pizza to a home Sunday morning when she was robbed at gunpoint. Police said the teen forced her into the car and directed her to drive to an undisclosed location where she was sexually assaulted. Miles was arrested later that day.

Domino's spokesman Tim McIntyre said the company is "shocked and horrified by what happened."

McIntyre said in a statement Monday that the company is working with the local franchise owner to provide the victim with anything she needs.
