Investigators with the Shasta County Sheriff's Major Crime's Unit say a 14-year-old alleged attacker in a group home stabbing Monday evening said he wanted to kill his victim.
The stabbing happened during an argument at the Remi Vista group home in Palo Cedro.
The male employee was stabbed in the arm and back, but has since been treated and released from the hospital.
The teenager, an admitted-gang, is in juvenile hall facing a charge of attempted murder.
Officials are not releasing the name of the victim during the investigation at this time.
