A Redding teen is behind bars for DUI after he ran his car into a tree, injuring his passengers. It happened around 5:45 Sunday night when the driver, 19 year old Sterling Glenn of Redding, was making a left hand turn from Johnson Street onto Walbridge Street. Glenn lost control of his 2001 Buick when making the turn and hit a tree, injuring his two passengers. The 22 year old woman was taking to St. Elizabeth Hospital with moderate injuries to her face and possible major injuries to her back. The 18 year old male refused treatment. Glenn was arrested for driving under the influence and booked into Tehama County Jail.
