ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) - Police in Northern California have arrested a teacher's aide after video circulated on social media showing the woman slapping a young boy as two people hold him by the arms and legs.

The Contra Costa Times reports Antioch Police arrested Kamaljot Kaur Wednesday after interviewing the two staff members seen holding the boy, student witnesses and the 9-year-old victim.

Police say the boy, who is from Oakland, was hit Tuesday but that he didn't have any visible injuries or complaints of pain.

Kaur is being held on $100,000 bail on suspicion of child cruelty, Contra Costa County Sheriff Department records show. She hasn't been assigned a public defender and it's unclear if she has retained a private attorney.

The videos were shot at Tobinworld II, a special-needs school in Antioch. Last year, a parent who says his son was abused on campus filed a lawsuit against the school.
