California's history is sweeter than you realize.
A new exhibit at Turtle Bay Exploration Park, "Sweet - A Tasty Journey," details our state's "farm to fork" role in candy making.
"California plays a pretty big role in candy making, because of our agriculture here, so we contribute fruits and nuts to the candy making process," said Turtle Bay Marketing & Public Relations Manager Cristy Kidd.
Visitors can view displays of confections from around the world, explore nostalgic products through the decades, and learn about sugar's journey from cane to candy.
The exhibit opened today and runs until May 13.
