SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - A Northern California man who displayed swastikas in front of his house has put up a new sign after someone tore down the posters and a wooden statute that accompanied the display.

The Sacramento Bee reports that the homeowner on Tuesday put a new sign on the front door that read "TERRORISM?" in blue text.

It appeared outside the Sacramento home after someone tore down the original signs, which featured a swastika replacing the blue Star of David on an Israeli flag and a swastika replacing the stars on an American flag. A crude wooden statue with raised arms was also knocked to the ground.

Neighbors and state lawmakers have urged the homeowner to take down the offensive signs, but they acknowledge he has a right to free speech.
