Authorities say they have arrested two men in connection to a strong-arm robbery Monday afternoon at the downtown Chico plaza.

Chico police say 35-year-old Cameron Talbert and 24-year-old Jeremy Williams used force to take a wallet and jacket from a 43-year-old man just before 2 p.m. Monday.

A short time after the incident was reported investigators identified Talbert and Williams as the suspects.

Williams was located and detained by police in the area of W. 7th Street and the railroad tracks around 4:30 p.m. Monday. The victim's wallet and jacket were found in a nearby creek bed.

Officers detained Talbert Tuesday morning at an apartment on W. 1st Street.

Both men are facing robbery and conspiracy charges.
