The search of a home in Magalia turned up what authorities suspect to be a meth lab and led to the arrest of two people.
Around 7:30 a.m. the Butte County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 6379 Imperial Way in Magalia. Sheriff’s deputies did not immediately indicate what the search warrant was for, but neighbors believed it to be concerning stolen property.
While searching the home law enforcement found what they suspected to be a meth lab. The Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force (BINTIF) was called to the scene where they set up a field lab and tested the substances found.
BINTIF agents said a man was arrested on drug charges and possession of stolen property. A woman, believed to be the sister of the male suspect was also arrested on drug charges.
