ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif. (AP) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says a suspect is in custody after the shooting death of a man in the Los Angeles suburb of Rowland Heights.
The sheriff's department says in a news release that officers were called at 8:38 p.m. to the 2200 block of Batson Avenue to investigate a report of a homicide.
The department says the man was pronounced dead at the scene and a suspect is in custody. The department did not provide any other details.
Los Angeles County Fire Department Supervising Dispatcher Michael Pittman tells the Los Angeles Times that there were a total of four victims in the shooting.
Pittman says that none of the victims were taken to a hospital.
