(AP)- A law enforcement official says Pennsylvania State Police have identified a suspect who killed one trooper and critically wounded another outside a barracks.

The official says an arrest warrant will be issued soon. State police are looking for the suspect.

The official was not authorized to release the information and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

An assailant killed 38-year-old Cpl. Bryon Dickson and critically wounded Trooper Alex Douglass outside the Blooming Grove barracks in northeastern Pennsylvania late Friday, then slipped away.

State police planned a news conference Tuesday afternoon to discuss their progress in the case.
