Trinity County Sheriff’s Deputies made an arrest in connection with the two bodies found in Hayfork Monday night.

The Sheriff's Office received a report of suspicious circumstances about 11:30 at a home on Carter Gulch Road in Hayfork. Deputies say Jason Brady, 40, of Escondido, was the reporting party and told officers he had just killed two people inside the home.

When sheriffs arrived, Brady attempted escape the home but was quickly captured. Investigators interviewed Brady who admitted to killing both victims.

Deputies said they are withholding further information until the victims’ next of kin have been notified.
