Sunshine Saturday for Chico Pioneer Day Parade

Apr 29, 2014 9:23 PM

The annual Pioneer Day Parade gets underway at 11 a.m. Saturday in Downtown Chico and the weather promises to be perfect.
The theme this year is “Celebrating Everyday Heros” … people living and working in our community who make a difference in the lives of others. Veterans, Teachers, Service Clubs, youth clubs all fit the category.
And it’s not too late to place an entry in the parade. Forms can be turned in at the Chico Chamber of Commerce and no late fee will be charged.
Volunteers help make it possible, and more help is always welcome.
In addition to the Parade, there will also be a BBQ and Artisans Faire downtown Saturday, and after the parade … many people head over to the Endangered Species Fair in Bidwell Park.
