Sunny skies, warmer temperatures, and stronger winds are ahead in your Wednesday forecast. Temperatures are much cooler than 24 hours ago, with mid to high 40's in the valley, and high 20's to low 40's in the mountains. The cooler overnight low temperatures are attributed to a lack of clouds trapping in the heat from yesterday. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to be much warmer this afternoon. Valley areas can expect to return to the high 70's to low 80's this afternoon, and mountain areas will climb into the mid 60's to low 70's. Winds will be much stronger today, with sustained winds out of the North to 15mph, and gusts to 25mph.
Temperatures will be even warmer for Thursday, and Friday. Sunny skies will continue into your weekend, but some clouds could sag into the region on Saturday. There will be a very slight chance of showers brushing the far northern zones of the state this weekend. The above average temperatures will continue through your entire extended forecast. I hope everyone enjoys the spring weather heading into the region, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
