More hot temperatures, and sunny skies are ahead for your Monday forecast. Valley areas dipped into the low to mid 60's overnight, and mountain areas fell into the high 30's to low 50's. Afternoon high temperatures will climb into the low to mid 90's for the valley, and into the mid 80's to low 90's in the higher elevations. Winds are expected to be out of the Northwest to 10mph in the valley, and up to 10mph out of the Northeast in the mountains. Humidity values will fall to around 10 percent this afternoon. The hot temperatures, North winds, and low humidity values will result in moderate to high fire danger this afternoon.
Temperatures will be slightly cooler for your Tuesday forecast, but sunny skies will continue to dominate the region. Much cooler temperatures will arrive in the region for your first day of the fall season on Wednesday. Temperatures in the valley will only climb into the low to mid 80's for your first fall afternoon. Temperatures will then rebound into the low 90's in the valley on Thursday. Partly cloudy skies will return to the region late in the day on Friday, and there will be a nice cooling trend ahead for the weekend. Valley areas will be in the low to mid 80's, and mountain locations will be in the high 60's to low 70's. There will be a chance of showers returning to the mountains for your first weekend of fall! I hope everyone stays out of the heat today, and has a marvelous Monday!
