Sunny to mostly sunny skies, and well above average temperatures are ahead for your Friday. Temperatures have dipped into the high 40's to low 50's in the valley overnight, and into the high 20's to high 30's in the mountains. Afternoon high temperatures are projected to climb into the mid 70's for the valley, and low 60's to around 70 degrees in the mountains. Winds will be out of the Southeast to around 10mph this afternoon.
Cloudy skies will return to the north state on Saturday, and there will be a very modest chance for showers in the Northern Mountains by Saturday evening. Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Saturday, and are projected to be in the mid to high 60's for the valley. The potential for showers returns to the entire region on Sunday, and will continue through Tuesday. Valley areas are projected to get between an inch to two inches during that time. Temperatures will top out in the low 60's on Sunday, and then only climb into the high 50's for Monday and Tuesday. Snow levels are projected to fall down to around, or just below 5000' on Monday.
Partly cloudy skies will be ahead for Wednesday, and temperatures are expected to warm back into the mid 60's in the valley on Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures could climb back into the low 70's by Thursday of next week, but partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected to continue during that time. I hope everyone enjoys the warm conditions ahead for today, is ready for the showers to return this weekend, and has a fantastic Friday!
