Sunny skies, modest North winds, and very warm temperatures are ahead for today. Today is projected to be the warmest day of 2016 to date. Valley areas are starting out in the low 50's to high 60's early this morning, and are expected to climb into the high 80's to low 90's this afternoon. Mountain areas have dipped into the low 30's to mid 40's this morning, and are projected to climb into the mid 70's to mid 80's this afternoon. Winds will be between 10 to 15mph out of the North.
A modest drop in temperatures will be ahead for Thursday, with valley areas projected to range in the low to mid 80's for tomorrow afternoon. Skies will start off sunny on Thursday, but clouds will increase into the afternoon. There will be a slight chance for showers in the mountain on Thursday night, but wet weather will more than likely hold off until Friday. Temperatures will top out in the low to mid 70's on Friday. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Friday, and there will be a decent chance for at least light showers across the north state. There will be a 50 to 60 percent chance of showers in the valley on Friday, and a 40 to 50 percent chance for showers in the valley on Saturday. Temperatures are only projected to climb into the mid 60's in the valley this weekend. There will be a lingering chance for showers across the region through early next week. I hope everyone is ready for the very warm conditions ahead for today, and has a wonderful Wednesday!
