Sunday update: Bully Fire at 12,661 acres, 71% contained

Firefighters continue to mop up and strengthen control lines around the Bully Fire.

CAL FIRE officials say that significant improvements are being made on all areas.

Latest figures from Sunday morning put the fire at 12,661 acres, with 71% containment.

An expected containment date is projected for this Wednesday.

All evacuations and road closures in the area have been lifted, but residents needing assistance can contact Red Cross at (530) 244-8000.
