Thursday was a mix of sun and clouds as a weak storm moved over us. The clouds will clear our overnight, and we'll see plenty of sunshine Friday!
It wasn't much, but a weak storm passed through the North State on Thursday. It didn't bring us any rain, and has cleared out... behind it, we'll see lots of sunshine Friday as high pressure returns. High pressure and a light north breeze will help Valley temperatures come close to 70 by the afternoon. Saturday looks pretty similar.
A stronger (and colder) storm will target us Sunday. While it won't be a soaker, it will bring us showers... maybe around 1/10" for the Valley. Snow levels will start near 6000', but drop to near 4500' by Monday as cold air from the Gulf of Alaska pours into northern California. That will make the atmosphere a little unstable, so look for an isolated afternoon thunderstorm or two in the Valley.
Skies clear Tuesday, and we'll see a breezy north wind set up, with gusts to 25 mph. Wednesday and Thursday look mostly sunny but chilly at night.
