Fire crews are investigating what caused several roadside fires that broke out along interstate five from Anderson to as far south as Corning.
It happened around 2:15 Sunday afternoon.
Traffic slowed in the southbound lanes of I-5 as crews worked to put out one blaze.
Within an hour after the first fire was reported, officials said six small fires were reported along the freeway in Anderson.
Air tankers dropped retardant on the fires to keep them from spreading to the El Rio Estates mobile home park in Anderson.
We are also hearing two structures were also reportedly burned in Red Bluff, we do know one of the structures was a home.
