The gunfire was reported to the Red Bluff Police Department at 8:48 a.m. Monday, but reportedly happened around 3:50 a.m at the Red Bluff Meadow Apartments at 850 Kimball Road.

The victim told police her 12-year-old daughter had woken up with broken glass on her bed and found a bullet hole in the nearby window.

Officers say a search of the area revealed that the apartment below the victims had also been struck twice by bullets.

At this time no injuries have been reported.
