SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - San Jose police say they don't suspect foul play in connection with the disappearance of two teenage girls whose father has said they were last seen at a church event at a high school.

Police spokesman Albert Morales says investigators are still trying to sort out details, but the girls' disappearance appears related to a child custody dispute between their father and mother.

The girls' father, Chuck Dorcich, says 16-year-old Madeline and 13-year-old Emily were last seen at a church event on Sunday evening event at Del Mar High School in San Jose.

He has filed a missing persons report with police.
