Wet and windy across northern California today! We'll get a break in the rain for a couple of days before the next storm hits us Friday.
Another strong storm slammed into the North State today, with heavy rain and gusty winds. The Valley generally saw between 2/3" to 1" of rain, with 40 to 50 mph south wind gusts. This storm is moving east, and we're drying out quickly. We may see a little sun tomorrow, but it won't be much. We will be dry, however, through Thursday.
Our next storm moves in early Friday, with more locally heavy rain and gusty winds. This one looks warm as well, so look for the snow levels to be near 5000' again. A secondary low will move inland on Saturday (with less moisture), so the steady rain will turn to off-and-on showers on Saturday... but we'll stay wet to start our weekend. We should get another break in the rain on Sunday.
