PG&E is reporting power outages across the county due to the storm.

After restoring power to customers in Chico and Paradise overnight, PG&E crews are responding to outages impacting 226 customers in Corning and an outage impacting 1,405 customers south of Oroville and outside Gridley. All outages appear to be storm related.

PG&E is prepared to respond to power outages expected to occur over the next several days as a series of rain storms move across the North State.

PG&E wants to warn people to consider all downed wires to be energized and stay away. Call 911 and PG&E at 1-800-PGE-5000 to report downed power lines.

Keep a flashlight with fresh batteries on hand in case of a power outage. Customers may call PG&E at 800-PGE-5002 to report your outage and to request text messages or call backs with updates on your outage restoration progress.
